Galanthus or 'snowdrop' is a real early herald of spring. The Galanthus group consists of a large number of different cultivars and belongs to the Amaryllidaceae family. The most important cultivars are Galanthus nivalis, Galanthus elwesii and Galanthus woronowii. The Galanthus is an easy naturalizer in the garden or public green!
